Overview
This is a two day course consisting of 4 hours each day. Each session will be divided into learning the principles of mindfulness and breath-work practice. the two classes will be held 1 week apart so that you can have plenty of time to practice on your own and spend time reflecting on the principles taught.
Principles of Mindfulness
In this course we will discuss 7 principles of mindful living that can radically change the way you perceive, and begin to change your reality. These principles, as taught in this course, come from ancient Hawaiian wisdom that has come to be known as Huna.
These principles are as follows:
1- The world is what you think it is
2- There are no limits
3-Energy Flows where attention goes
4- Now is the moment of power
5- To love is to be happy
6- All power comes from within
7- Effectiveness is the measure of truth
Conscious Connected Breathing
Conscious connected breathing is a technique used in many wellness circles as a way of bringing in joy, harmony, and deep healing to the practitioner. In this class we will be using the breath to connect to the principles that are discussed and begin to change the way we percieve our world, our problems, our pain, and our joy. To get to this transformative potential, we will be discussing three key ideas that will help you dive deeply into healing and transformation as we practice breathwork together. The principles that we will be discussing are:
1- Breath as a tool for body awareness
2- Breath as a tool for tracking energetic changes
3- Breath as tool to enjoy each moment
