How I came to do what I do

About Jarom Stubbs
My path toward wellness began years ago while I was teaching junior high science. I was a young teacher, full of passion but quietly carrying a heavy load of stress—layered not just from the classroom, but from a lifetime of holding things in and powering through. I didn’t know how to let go. I simply stuffed everything into the corners of my frame, and for a while… it worked. Or at least, it worked well enough.

That changed when life delivered three separate moments that brought me, my wife and unborn child, and my three-year-old son to the brink of death. Everything I thought I knew about who I was and why I was here began to unravel. In my search for answers, I found myself standing at the doors I’d always avoided—doors that opened to meditation, yoga, Reiki, energy healing, chakra therapy, emotional somatic work, and eventually, Vivation breathwork. What I’ve found along this journey hasn’t been perfection or certainty—but something much deeper: peace, presence, and a growing trust in life itself.

The first spark of sharing this with others came from my students. After I started meditating on my own, I introduced short daily mindfulness practices into my classroom. The impact was immediate and powerful. One student, in particular, told me on the last day of school, “You literally saved my life.” That moment changed everything for me. I knew I had to keep learning—and keep sharing.

Today, I’m a certified instructor in mindfulness, meditation, and Vivation breathwork. I also hold a Master’s degree in Education and have over a decade of experience teaching and supporting both youth and adults in emotional well-being. I’m a father of four, still learning how to soften, slow down, and stay present—even on the hard days.

This work—and this site—is part of my journey. It’s where I share what I’ve learned (and continue to learn) in the hope that it will support you on your path. If I’ve discovered anything, it’s this: our healing deepens in direct proportion to the love we’re willing to give and receive.

Let’s walk that path together.

I haven’t found all the answers, but I’ve found presence, peace, and a love for life I never knew was possible. That’s what I want to share with you.

Namaste,

Jarom Stubbs
